GPS Module

GE-317 is an easy to use, ultra-high performance, low power GPS engine board with active antenna options for handheld/AVL applications. The built-in SiRFstarIII chip and our experienced design provide fast acquisitions and excellent tracking performance. The SMT mountable design allows for automatic assembly mass production. 

GE-317 is especially useful for handheld/small size applications. It supports both passive and active antenna. To reduce the RF tuning efforts and also development time, GE-317A supports active antenna with an IPEX connector. To meet this demand and simplify active antenna choices, NaviSys also offers companion options. 

In addition to the chip built-in power saving, an optional hardware controlled power switch was built-in GE-317. It allows power cycling by the PWR_CTRL pin.
